HiveXchange launches at PMA Conference 2016
The Produce Marketing Association (PMA) makes an enormous contribution to the fresh produce landscape by informing industry stakeholders of key industry issues and opportunities for innovation. Therefore it seemed appropriate, both as members of the PMA and innovators in fresh produce, to officially launch the HiveXchange at the recent PMA Fresh Connections Conference held in Brisbane from May 17-19, 2016.
HiveXchange CEO Antonio Palanca said
“As members of the PMA, we were delighted to participate as exhibitors and presenters at the recent PMA conference in Brisbane. We met stakeholders from across the industry to whom fresh produce is not only their livelihood, but their calling” We’re already looking forward to Adelaide in 2017.
The 2016 PMA Fresh Connections Conference was the largest in its 10 year history, with more than 1,000 attendees and more than 70 exhibitors walking the floor over the three days it was a rich experience both for gaining industry insight and new network connections. In case you missed it, some of the keynote presentations are available on the Fresh Connections website
Pictured above are members of the HiveXchange team at the PMA Conference- (from left to right) Damian George, Daniel Bowling, and Dwight Woodforth. Damian and Dwight have been in the fresh produce industry since they were teenagers and as shareholders and professionals supporting the HiveXchange, they bring a wealth of insight and energy to the business. As Head of Engineering for the HiveXchange, Daniel may be a recent convert to fresh produce but not to the challenges of building a sophisticated, but intuitive e-commerce platform – having spent his career working in energy markets.
